My name is Adam Raborn and I am a Marine Corps Veteran. I spent 5 years as an Airframe mechanic, 6152, on CH-46D/E Helicopters. More specifically I worked for Pedro, the USMC's former SAR platform. I was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan and then MCAS Cherry Point, NC where I finished my enlistment with VMR-1. While I was a helicopter mechanic by trade, I also had the chance to work on the C-9B. A 90 passenger airplane, but also, the Commandant's personal aircraft, complete with bedroom and kitchen.
I had no desire to be a grunt. I had no desire to hump a hundred pounds of gear and be in the field for weeks at a time. But, today, all of the military clothing companies you see all cater to them; the shooters. I saw a void that I wanted to fill and that's why I created Air Winger Clothing Company. I want to design and sell high quality gear that can be used under your uniform, at the gym or even wear to Olivia's (Some of you will get that).
Whether you want to represent your MOS, your Unit or your aircraft, we can provide the gear you need. If you don't see what you want, reach out. We are here for you.
Semper Fi, MF'ers!
